Julie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing therapeutic services across residential, school-based, community, and telehealth settings. She takes a client-centered, holistic approach to therapy—honoring each individual’s unique strengths while fostering ethical, respectful, culturally responsive, affirming, and collaborative communication.

Julie recognizes the complexity of life experiences and takes a multifaceted approach to understanding the sources of discomfort, struggle, and resilience. Her work integrates the physical, emotional, mental, social, and nutritional dimensions of well-being to help clients move toward their personal goals. She places strong emphasis on self-awareness and growth, encouraging individuals to explore their own narratives, perspectives, and thought patterns.

Julie specializes in supporting clients through challenges such as relationship difficulties, family and couples concerns, codependency, trauma, anxiety, depression, divorce, caregiver stress, grief, burnout, and life transitions. She draws on a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory. While experienced in working with all age groups, her primary focus is on adolescents and adults.
